Food delivery man robbed in Elmont, police say
A man on a bike robbed a Chinese food delivery man in Elmont Wednesday, threatening him with a knife before taking his money and his BlackBerry, Nassau County police said.
The robbery occurred at 5:20 p.m. on Hendrickson Avenue.
Police said no one was injured - and that the robber fled on the bicycle in an unknown direction. It was not clear how much money was stolen in the daylight robbery.
