Four women have been arrested in connection with selling counterfeit designer merchandise at a Catholic high school crafts fair in Hicksville, Nassau County police said.

The suspects were identified by police as Fredda Zamchik, 63, of 1016 Newbridge Rd., North Bellmore; Diane Portillo, 34, of 583 First St., Cedarhurst; Laurice McIsaacs, 68, of 145-45 232nd St., Rosedale, Queens; and Veronica Barcia, 31, of Ozone Park, Queens. All were charged with trademark counterfeiting and were scheduled for arraignment on Dec. 7 at First District Court in Hempstead.

Nassau police said at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, officers were alerted that counterfeit items from designers like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Gucci, Michael Kors, and Prada were being sold by vendors at the Holiday Craft Fair at Holy Trinity Diocesan High School.

Upon arrival, they found the suspects working as vendors with assorted counterfeit items in their possession, police said, and the women were placed under arrest.
