They were arraigned April 1 in First District Court, Hempstead, charged with assault.

On Saturday, detectives from the special investigation squad arrested brothers -- David A. Hernandez, 17, of 237 Wright St., and Geovany Hernandez, 20, of 379 Cross St.

The brothers are to be arraigned Sunday in First District Court, Hempstead, on charges of attempted murder, assault and weapons possession.
