Four Queens men face charges in a series of thefts from parked vehicles in North Merrick, Merrick and North Bellmore earlier this week, Nassau County First Squad detectives said.

The men broke into four cars between Sunday night and Monday morning, stealing several items, including two global positioning systems, police said in a release.

Arrested were:

Chevon Guthrie, 19, of 181-15 N. Conduit Ave., Springfield Gardens; Donald Gunter, 17, of 109-23 156th St., Jamaica; Bikeo Edwards, 19, of 102-06 186th St., Jamaica; and Tyrell Ellion, 18, of 108-49 Guy R Brewer Ave., Queens

Police said Guthrie is charged with four counts each of petty larceny and criminal possession of stolen property and also criminal trespassing. Gunter is charged with four counts each of petty larceny and criminal possession of stolen property, police said. Edwards and Ellion are each charged with criminal trespassing, police said.

They are scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
