Free review of medications Friday in Wantagh
Pharmacy students will be on hand Friday at the Wantagh Public Library to answer questions about medications, their side effects and possible interactions.
Students from St. John's University College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions who are supervised by faculty will meet with people to review their medications and answer questions.
The goal is to improve students' communication skills while ensuring safe use of drugs, said the patient safety group PULSE of NY, which is sponsoring the event along with St. John's.
People should bring all of their medications to the library at 3285 Park Ave., Wantagh, between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information, call 516-579-4711.
