Two Freeport men have been arrested on burglary charges for allegedly stealing two television sets from a basement apartment in Baldwin, Nassau County police said.

On Wednesday at about 11 a.m., police said Troy Green, 19, of 31 Hamilton St., and Chris Chery, 19, of 828 S. Ocean Ave., broke into the apartment on Grand Avenue and lifted the two sets.

Police made the arrests and recovered the two stolen sets on Thursday, according to a news release.

Green and Chery each are charged with second-degree burglary and scheduled for arraignment Friday at First District Court in Hempstead, police said.
