The Freeport Village fireworks show has been rescheduled for Thursday.
Thousands are expected for the show, which starts at 8:45 p.m. and will conclude with a pyrotechnic image of a giant American flag.
Fireworks can be viewed from Sea Breeze Park, Woodcleft Canal and partyboats available to take spectators out on the water for a closer view.
The fireworks contractor is Pyrotecnico, a company that has done displays for the Super Bowl and for Pittsburgh’s 2016 bicentennial.
Many Nautical Mile restaurants will offer free food for children and host local bands.
The show had originally been scheduled for June 29.
