Funeral arrangements have been set for the commissioner of Nassau County’s Office of Emergency Management.

The viewing for Craig Craft will be held at the Wantagh Fire Department, 3470 Park Ave., on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and again from 6 to 10 p.m. There will be another viewing on Saturday from 3 to 8 p.m. at the fire department.

Craft’s funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Sunday at the fire department. After the ceremony, his burial will be at New Montefiore Cemetery on Wellwood Avenue in West Babylon.

Craft, 53, suffered a heart attack Wednesday morning and died after being taken to Nassau University Medical Center. He became commissioner in September 2011. Before joining the county, Craft was a longtime member of the Wantagh Fire Department, previously serving as a chief and captain.

Craft’s death was a “huge loss to us and to the county,” said Jim Kane, the emergency management office’s deputy commissioner.
