A funeral will be held Saturday for Francesco "Frankie" Posillico, 17, who died in a car crash Tuesday evening.

There will be a wake from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Donohue-Cecere Funeral Home at 290 Post Ave. in Westbury. The funeral is 9:45 a.m. Saturday at St. Brigid at 75 Post Ave., with burial to follow at Cemetery of the Holy Rood in Westbury.

The Westbury Fire Department will conduct a department service with department honors during the wake hours. Posillico was a member of the department's Explorer program for teenagers.

The teenage survivors of the crash in Westbury remained hospitalized for a third night Thursday, hospital officials said.

They are Joseph Scaperrotta and Daniel Roche, both 16 and passengers in a 2006 BMW driven by Posillico, which broadsided a Chevrolet at Bowling Green Drive and Salisbury Road.

Roche was in critical but stable condition at Winthrop-University Hospital in Mineola, and Scaperrotta remained in serious condition at the East Meadow hospital, spokesmen for the facilities said.
