An entrance ramp of the Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway was closed Friday morning because of a garbage truck fire, Nassau County police said.

Police issued a traffic advisory at about 10 a.m. that the northbound entrance ramp at Exit 3 in Seaford was closed.

The situation was resolved shortly after 1 p.m., a police spokeswoman said.

The truck caught fire on Seamans Neck Road. she said, but had no further information.
