Nassau County police are investigating after a threatening message was found scrawled on a window at a Baldwin high school over the weekend.

The message, the content of which police did not release, was found written in black marker on the outside of a cafeteria window at the Baldwin Senior High School on Ethel T. Kloberg Drive, police said.

Police said the message had been written sometime between 10:30 p.m. Friday and 8:07 a.m. Saturday. Investigators said the school was determined to be safe, but the investigation is ongoing.

Police ask anyone with information about this incident to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
