A rally was held in front of the Great Neck Library on Sunday, with residents calling for library election votes from Oct. 31 to be counted in full, immediately. Some candidates have filed a lawsuit against a slate of other candidates and the library itself. The suit, which has temporarily halted vote counting, seeks an independent review of the election results, claiming irregularities with some proxy and absentee ballots.
