Starting Jan. 11, Great Neck Plaza code enforcement officers will be cracking down on expired quarterly permits.
To avoid being ticketed, residents with parking permits from the fourth quarter of 2015 for the Maple Drive or Plaza Centre garages must renew their permits by Sunday.
Residents can renew or purchase parking permits for the first quarter of 2016 at the village building department. Commercial building permits will be addressed between 9 to 10 a.m. and noon to 1 p.m. Residential parking permits can be obtained between 9 a.m. and 4:45 p.m.
Applicants can also visit the village website for a copy of the renewal form, and mail a check to the village.
Both permits cost $90 and applicants must bring registration and a valid driver’s license. Those applying for commercial parking permits must also provide proof of employment.
Great Neck Plaza Village Hall is at 2 Gussack Plaza, in Great Neck.
