Baby injured when foot gets stuck in Green Acres Mall escalator, police say
A baby was injured when its foot got stuck in an escalator Monday at the Green Acres Mall in Valley Stream, Nassau County police said.
The injury happened just before 3 p.m., and officers were at the scene, police said.
The child's injury was examined at the scene and further treatment declined by the family, police said.
A call to the mall was referred to the property manager, who was not immediately available.
