The Fourth Squad is looking for a group of men suspected of pulling off two armed robberies Thursday in a parking field adjacent to a movie complex in Valley Stream, Nassau County police said.

Between about 10:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. a 14-old-boy and a 44-year-old woman were robbed by the group in a rear parking field of the Sunrise Multiplex Cinemas, 750 W. Sunrise Hwy., police said.

The youth was approached by the group at 10:27 p.m., police said. One of the men displayed a silver handgun, another a knife. They took the boy's bicycle, cell phone and a MetroCard before fleeing westbound through the parking field and an opening in a fence, police said.

At about 10:48 p.m., police believe the same group took the woman's handbag, cell phone, shopping bags and wallet. Again, one suspect showed a silver handgun and another a knife. Police also said one of the men in the group was on a bicycle.

Police said the suspects fled in the same manner as the previous robbery, but then went south toward Hook Creek Boulevard in Rosedale, Queens.

The suspects are described as being in their late teens to early 20s, wearing dark-colored clothing and hooded sweatshirts, police said.
