A masked man held a gun to a customer's head during a robbery of a MetroPCS store in Uniondale on Monday, Nassau County police said.

Two masked men entered the wireless services store on Uniondale Avenue at 2:45 p.m., police said. One quickly put a gun to the head of a 34-year-old customer, ordering her to get on the floor, police said. Police said the other bandit knocked two computer monitors off a counter and demanded money from employees.

Police said one employee placed cash into a purple bag the robber produced.

The two robbers then ran south on Uniondale Avenue. Police said the woman forced to the floor was unharmed.

One suspect is described as about 6 feet tall with a thin build, the other is about 5-foot-2 with a heavy build. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential, police said.
