Hempstead teen mom, baby reported missing are found, police say
Nassau County police said Thursday a 14-year-old Hempstead mother and her 9-month-old son who had been missing since 4 p.m. Wednesday have been located.
Cindy Sanchez had last been seen entering a taxi on Baldwin Road in Hempstead with her child, police said.
The Missing Person Squad reported late Thursday morning that the mom and child had been found. Police did not provide details.
