Hempstead to open dog park at Newbridge Road Park

Hempstead Town Supervisor Anthony Santino will open the Town’s first dog park on Wednesday within the Newbridge Road Park.
He will officially open the park at 11:30 a.m., according to a news release from Santino’s office.
The dog park at 2600 Newbridge Road will feature soft turf, ramps, seesaws, obstacles and more to ensure that a “happy pup remains a healthy pup,” said the release.
