One person was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries after two cars collided in Hicksville just after noon on Wednesday, Nassau police said.

The crash at West Old Country Road and Levittown Parkway was reported to the police at 12:28 p.m., they said.

The front of one of the cars, a sedan, was crumpled, a photograph from the scene showed.
