Two people were ejected from their vehicles during a collision in Hicksville late Friday night, police said.

A 2011 Honda Odyssey was traveling south on Newbridge Road around 11:20 p.m. when the driver tried to make a left turn onto Barter Lane, Nassau County police said in a news release. The Odyssey and a 2005 Cadillac Escalade, which was traveling north on Newbridge Road, crashed.

The Cadillac overturned and its driver, the vehicle’s sole occupant, was ejected, police said. He was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries that were not life-threatening.

A rear passenger of the Honda was also ejected and suffered injuries that were not life-threatening, police said. The Honda’s driver and his three occupants, including the woman who was ejected, were taken to hospitals.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.
