East Meadow man seriously hurt after crashing car into Hicksville home, police say

A 54-year-old East Meadow man was seriously injured after he crashed his vehicle into a Hicksville home Tuesday night while attempting to make a left turn, Nassau police said.
The only person inside the home, on Newbridge Rd., was not harmed by the approximately 11 p.m. collision, police said.
The driver was taken to Nassau University Medical Center and was listed in serious condition, police said.
