Two homes catch fire in Massapequa, officials say

Two homes caught fire in Massapequa on Monday afternoon, according to Nassau County Fire Communications.
The fire broke out on Biltmore Boulevard at 2:35 p.m., Nassau County police said.
Officers responding to a radio call for the fire found “a large house fire,” police said, adding that the home was unoccupied. A vacant house next door was also damaged by the fire, police said.
There were no injuries reported.
Police said the Massapequa, Wantagh and Seaford fire departments responded to the fire.
The Nassau County fire marshal has deemed the fire not suspicious, police said.
