Human remains found in Uniondale

Police said human remains were found Tuesday morning in Uniondale.
Authorities said around 9 a.m., Nassau County homicide detectives reported that skeletal remains of a human body were located in a wooded area on the west side of Meadowbrook Parkway.
Police said the investigation is ongoing. No additional information was available at the time of this report.
