Huntington Station man arrested in bank robberies
A Huntington Station man has been arrested in a series of bank robberies in Nassau County late last year, police said Wednesday.
Marshall Bertoli, 48, of 32 Lieper St., has been charged with three counts of robbery, the Nassau County robbery squad said.
Bertoli allegedly robbed a Chase Bank in Woodbury on Nov. 27 and two TD banks, one in Woodbury on Dec. 8 and the other in Hicksville on Dec. 11.
Police did not say how much money was taken in the robberies.
Bertoli was arraigned on Wednesday in First District Court in Hempstead.
Police said they obtained a warrant after Bertoli was jailed in Suffolk County.
Prior to arraignment he was transferred to Nassau County Correctional Center in East Meadow.
