'Idol's Rosen set to sing SaturdayMerrick's "American Idol" semifinalist Robbie Rosen will sing for a cause Saturday at the Islanders-Flyers game at Nassau Coliseum, Newsday contributor Frank Lovece reports. Rosen, 16, will sign autographs and perform his original composition, "Make it Through," to help raise awareness for The Sophia's Cure Foundation. Named after 2-year-old Sophia Gaynor of Wantagh, who suffers from spinal muscular atrophy, the organization helps fund research for SMA, which has no cure and no proven treatments.
