Pedestrian fatally struck in Hicksville
A pedestrian was fatally struck by a motor vehicle on Newbridge Road in Hicksville Thursday night, Nassau police said.
Details about the crash were sketchy Thursday night, but police said the 8 p.m. crash took place near a Long Island Rail Road trestle.
No criminality is suspected.
Officers were still on the scene investigating at 10 p.m.
