Six males on bicycles surrounded a man walking home Monday night in Inwood, then beat and robbed him, Nassau police said.

The victim, 58, was approaching the driveway of his home about 11:30 p.m. when he was punched by the six suspects and fell to the ground, police said.

The robbers took a cellphone from his pocket, then pedaled away, police said.

The victim suffered bruises and cuts to his head and face and was taken to a nearby hospital, police said.
