Police seek robber who held up man at gunpoint
Nassau County police are looking for a man who robbed a man at gunpoint early Saturday morning in West Hempstead.
Police said the gunman entered a 25-year-old's car about 4:15 a.m. on Rose Avenue and pointed a gun, demanding money. The gunman reached over to steal the man's cellphone and told him to drive away.
The victim described the gunman as having a dark complexion, about 5-feet 10-inches tall, with a slim build.
Police are asking anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All tipsters will remain anonymous.
