All customers who lost power because of Saturday's nor'easter had power restored Friday morning, a LIPA spokeswoman confirmed.

"We have no more storm-related outages," spokeswoman Vanessa Baird-Streeter said about 10 a.m.

Some customers had no power Friday morning, but those outages were not storm-related, Baird-Streeter said.

The Long Island Power Authority hailed the return to "system normal" Thursday, though for some affected ratepayers, anger lingered.

Some customers complained about a slow response and a lack of information from the utility.

Baird-Streeter said that although there was good cooperation among LIPA and National Grid employees and outside contractors, "we do believe we can improve on things. I would think we could be better in customer communication."

LIPA chief Kevin Law seemed to agree at a Thursday briefing when he said LIPA could have better kept customers informed on the progress of power restoration. He promised, "We will work on that."

"Is there room for improvement? Of course there is," Law said.
