A Levittown man has been charged with driving while intoxicated early Saturday after he crashed his car into a home, Nassau County police said.

Jesus I. Hernandez, 20, of 134 Bloomingdale Rd. crashed his black 2006 Nissan Pathfinder into a home on Sherwood Road in Levittown about 3:30 a.m. after he veered off Loring Road, police said. Hernandez crashed into a family's living room but no one was hurt, police said.

Police arrested Hernandez at the scene and his car was impounded. He was charged with DWI and operating a motor vehicle without a license.

He was arraigned Saturday morning in First District Court in Hempstead. His bail was set at $1,500 cash or $3,000 bond.
