A Freeport man was charged Saturday in a stabbing that took place after an argument, Nassau County police said.
First Squad detectives report the arrest of Joshua Scoca, 19 of 48 S. Long Beach Avenue.
Scoca is charged with second-degree assault and fourth-degree possession of a dangerous weapon. He was to be arraigned Saturday at First District Court in Hempstead.
According to detectives, Scoca stabbed a 25-year-old man Friday while in a garage near South Bergen Place, after an argument. The victim went to a 7-Eleven at 145 Sunrise Hwy. and then to a Freeport apartment for help, where police found him. He was taken to a hospital for injuries, police said.
