K-9 catches suspect in Massapequa Park
A search team that included a K-9 unit caught and arrested a man in a wooded area of Massapequa Park late Tuesday after what is being investigated as an assault near the nearby Long Island Rail Road station, police said.
No charges have been filed and the identity of the suspect arrested has not been released.
Nassau County police said the incident occurred at about 11:15 p.m. near the Massapequa Park train station and said the man then fled into Brady Park on Lake Shore Drive.
