Funeral arrangements have been set for Ka'Juan Polley, the 15-year-old Hempstead boy who died Monday from injuries he sustained in a bicycle accident last week in his hometown.

Viewing is scheduled for 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Union Baptist Church, 24 Clinton C Boone Pl., Hempstead.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial follows at Greenfield Cemetery, 650 Nassau Rd., Uniondale.

Ka'Juan, who would have been a 10th-grader this fall at Friends Academy in Locust Valley, was riding his bicycle south with three friends on Cameron Avenue when he was struck by an unlicensed driver traveling west on Front Street about 8:48 p.m. Saturday, Nassau police said Wednesday.

The boy's family will hold a candlelight vigil in his honor Friday at 8 p.m. at Lincoln Park in Hempstead.
