Nassau County police said they are looking for a knife-wielding man who robbed a Franklin Square drive-through convenience store of cash late Thursday.

The suspect, thinly built, about 6-feet tall and wearing all black, pulled a knife on an employee of the The Barn at 114 Franklin Ave. at about 10 p.m., police said.

He demanded the employee open the register and then took an unspecified amount of cash before running off in an unknown direction.

The employee was alone at the time, police said, and was not injured.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-8477. All information will be kept confidential.
