A Lakeview man who fired two rounds from a shotgun into the air outside his home was arrested Wednesday on reckless endangerment charges, Nassau County police said.

Fifth Precinct officers responded to a report of shots fired at 453 Clinton Ave. at 12:20 a.m., police said.

An investigation revealed that Sammie Spencer, 64, fired the shotgun into the air outside the residence, police said.

Spencer was arrested on the endangerment charge and a 12-gauge shotgun was recovered at the scene, police said.

Spencer is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
