Lanes reopen after LIE crash at Exit 42

All eastbound lanes of the Long Island Expressway at Exit 42, Jericho Turnpike, have been reopened, Nassau County police said.
The lanes were closed at about 3:45 p.m. Thursday because of a multivehicle accident.
A tractor trailer and four cars were involved in the crash that closed the LIE lanes for about an hour, a police spokeswoman said.
