Lawrence bank robbery suspect sought

Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County police on Wednesday released photographs of a suspect wanted in a Lawrence bank robbery last month.
Police said the man robbed the Bank of America at 400 Central Ave. on Jan. 24, taking an unspecified amount of cash after handing the teller a note demanding money.
The photographs were taken from video surveillance at the bank.
Ten people -- seven employees and three customers -- were in the bank when it was robbed, at about 10:45 a.m., police said. There were no injuries.
