On Tuesday, fifth-grade students from Central Boulevard Elementary School in Bethpage learned how to build flood gates with Legos in their newly created STEM lab. The unit revolving around LEGO WeDo 2.0 will teach the students to build a gate that can be programmed to open and close when the water level becomes too high.
