Some lanes of Lido Boulevard in Lido Beach remained closed at Buxton Street late Wednesday after a car crashed into a pole, police said.
The crash was reported just after 7 a.m. and there was no immediate word on possible injuries, Nassau County police said.
By 11:30 a.m., all westbound lanes remained closed and only one eastbound lane was open as officers rerouted traffic around downed power lines, a police spokeswoman said.
