LIE reopens after crash near Manhasset, police say

A crash on the westbound Long Island Expressway in Manhasset briefly closed multiple lanes Saturday afternoon, police said.
The crash, near Exit 33, involved a truck and prompted the closure of all but the HOV lane as of 1:40 p.m., according to the Nassau County Police Department.
Photos taken at the scene showed a Chevy SUV had sustained front end and driver side damage, and a tractor trailer appeared jackknifed across multiple lanes following the crash.
All lanes were reopened as of 2:45 p.m., police said.
One person was transported to the hospital for evaluation, according to a Nassau County Police Department spokesman. The person's condition was not immediately clear.
