A three-vehicle crash late Thanksgiving night on the Long Island Expressway in Lake Success left one woman seriously injured, police said.

Police said a westbound 2003 Acura SUV stopped in a lane at Exit 32 and was rear-ended by a 2001 Acura, which was rear-ended by a 2010 Toyota about 11:50 p.m. Thursday.

A woman, 43, who was the passenger in the Toyota, was not wearing her seat belt, and was thrust forward. She was unconscious at the scene, police said.

She was taken to a hospital where she was listed in serious condition.

Police on Friday morning said there were no further details available.

Detectives reported no apparent criminality.

All three vehicles were impounded for brake and safety inspections.
