Westbound lanes of the Long Island Expressway at Exit 36 near Searingtown reopened to traffic Friday afternoon after an investigation of a collision involving two trucks.

A Nassau County police spokesman said the lanes reopened at 4:55 p.m.

The 511NY website showed no delays in the area Friday night. The website had showed westbound lanes of the LIE blocked at Exit 37 Willis Avenue starting at 2:52 p.m.
