Police: LIE east reopened after truck fire

All lanes of the eastbound Long Island Expressway have been reopened after a truck fire, Nassau police said.
The fire occurred in the Plainview area between exits 46 and 48, police said. It was reported at 6:15 a.m.
At least two lanes of the expressway had been closed. Shortly after noon, police said the lanes had reopened.
No additional details were available.
