LIE eastbound in Nassau reopens after crash

An accident involving a car and a motorcycle shut down the eastbound Long Island Expressway in Roslyn Heights briefly during Thursday rush hour, Nassau police said.
The car overturned in the accident, which happened just before 4 p.m., police said.
The stretch between Exit 36, Searingtown Road, and Exit 37, Willis Avenue, was shut down and reopened at 4:33 p.m., according to the state's informny.com traffic site.
A police spokeswoman said there were no serious injuries and other details, including the cause of the accident, were not immediately available.
