LIE lanes reopen after truck accident

An overturned box truck closed two lanes on the westbound Long Island Expressway for about 2 1/2 hours Tuesday morning in East Hills, causing significant travel delays.
The single-vehicle crash occurred at 7:34 a.m. and briefly closed all lanes, according to Nassau County police.
Later, two lanes were closed, according to the state Department of Transportation. Those lanes were closed between Exit 39, Glen Cove Road, and Willis Avenue, Exit 37. They remained closed until 9:59 a.m., officials said.
Police said there were no serious injuries.
