LIE reopens after Queens accident
The Long Island Expressway in Queens has reopened after a one-car accident closed two westbound lanes between Exits 31 and 32, authorities said.
A driver hit the expressway divider at Exit 32 and was taken to North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, said New York City police, which are investigating.
The accident happened just before 4 p.m. in Little Neck, just west of the Nassau border, according to the state transportation department's website.
No other details were available.
