LIE reopens after van fire
Eastbound lanes of the Long Island Expressway were reopened after being closed between exits 39 and 40 in Old Westbury because of a van fire for less than an hour Monday night, Nassau police said.
There were no reported injuries from the fire, which closed the LIE eastbound from about 7:40 p.m. until 8:20 p.m., police said.
