LIE reopens lanes in Queens, Nassau

All lanes of the Long Island Expressway are now in use, police said.

The westbound LIE from Exits 29 to 28 in Queens were closed until 5:30 p.m. because of an accident. The lane closure started at 3:38 p.m.

In addition, three lanes of the westbound LIE at exit 41 near Hicksville in Nassau County, which had been closed at 4:39 p.m. due to debris in the road, have reopened, police said.
