LIRR: Most trains back on schedule after early delays Saturday

The Long Island Rail Road said that the Port Jefferson and Oyster Bay branches were again operating on schedule after delays Saturday morning because of an earlier downed power line near Mineola.

Only the 10:40 a.m. Ronkonkoma train, due in Greenport at 12:05 p.m., was operating 24 minutes late because of heavy weekend loading.
