A person was struck Tuesday night by a Long Island Rail Road train near the Mineola station, the MTA said.

The victim's identity and condition were not immediately available.

The MTA said the train struck the person at 6:37 p.m. and delays in both directions continued late Tuesday on the LIRR's Port Jefferson and Oyster Bay lines.

No one on the train was injured, the MTA said.
